Hi, my name is Michael Borisov. On behalf of my single man company I provide consulting services as a software engineer and a technical lead in EU and US markets.
I'm a polyglot software engineer with 30+ years of software development experience - comfortable leading a team of up to 15 engineers in remote and distributed environments. I have a good understanding of modern software development practices, automation, quality, requirements, and team dynamics, allowing me to create hyper-effective environments where people can thrive together. I speak business and technical languages and understand usability and customer needs, but I'm pragmatic, organized technical guy with well-developed communication skills.
During my software development journey, I've built up broad experience designing embedded, desktop, and distributed systems, micro-services, and micro-frontends, and building products for Web, Win, Mac, and Linux. I have a deep understanding of DevOps and continuous delivery practices from a technical and also cultural perspective.
I'm certified as a scrum master by Jeff Sutherland in 2007 and have a long list of teams using Scrum, Kanban, and Extreme Programming in start-up, scale-up, and enterprise environments.
As a polyglot software engineer, I'm firm with Node, React, TypeScript, GoLang, Python, C++, .NET Core, Azure, and AWS. Still, I don't limit myself to these technologies, and I'd be glad to have more practical experience with Rust.
